  1.                         TRIPLE GOOD BARS

  4. 2 c. raisins
  5. 14 oz. sweetened condensed milk
  6. 1 T. lemon peel
  7. 1 T. lemon juice
  8. 1 c. softened butter
  9. 1-1/3 c. brown sugar
  10. 1/2 T. vanilla
  11. 2-1/2 c. oatmeal
  12. 1 c. flour
  13. 1-1/2 c. chopped walnuts
  14. 1/2 t. baking soda
  15. 1/4 t. salt

  17.           Combine first 4 ingredients in saucepan and cook over
  18. medium heat, stirring, just until mixture begins to bubble. 
  19. Remove and cool slightly.  Beat butter, sugar and vanilla until
  20. fluffy.  Add remaining ingredients.  Blend until evenly mixed and
  21. crumbly.  Reserve 2 cups.  Press remaining mixture onto bottom of
  22. greased 13 x 9 pan.  Spread raisin mixture to within 1/2 inch of
  23. edge.  Sprinkle with reserve oat mixture.  Pat lightly.  Bake at
  24. 375 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.  Cool completely before cutting
  25. into 1 x 2 inch bars.  Makes 4 dozen.
